Mixed bag! I like the gym, clean, lots of equipment, great locker rooms and layout. But the front desk staff are the only one's who seem to care. They always have training groups going through who seem to forget that this is a working gym. The paid trainers (I get it that is how you are making more money) act as though the gym is a private gym for them... I have been a member for years but am on the fence at the moment for keeping it...

I really liked this gym because it has cool luxuries though I did not like the staff there. A lot of the staff there are pretty rude. I felt like a lot of the people that go to this gym are very selfish people, very stuck up! like they think they are better than every one else. I would not recommend this place to someone who doesn't have tolerance towards rude people. Don't get me wrong there were a couple of staff that were nice but the majority and the truth is this place is all about the money. You will be judged when you first walk into this gym so wear classy clothing ;)

I was content with this club for eleven months until I became ill and had to end my membership due to my doctor's advice. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY AUTOMATIC MONTHLY RECURRING CHARGES. THEY KEPT $750 OF MY MONEY when I had to quit going to the gym for medical reasons. I was supposed to give 30 days notice before the auto-charge for my training sessions went through. Gee, sorry I forgot about it. I was really sick. I have tried to get my money back from my old trainer, the general manager, and "member services" at the corporate office. They all tell me the same thing: "You are required to give us 30 days notice if you want to suspend an automatically recurring service. That's the policy, you signed the agreement, and there is nothing I can do for you." I tried to offer a compromise by asking if I could use the money in their spa for massages, manicures, hair cuts, etc. No, their policies don't allow transfer of customer money between departments. So everyone BEWARE. You will not win if you get into a tricky situation with this organization. They will stick to their rigid and unfair policies no matter the circumstance. They will not work with you. They will keep your money.

Chanhassen location is filthy. women’s locker room has serious sanitary issues. Be prepared to wait in line for overcrowded showers that have mildew and hair all over them mold on the ceiling I have never once seen the steam room cleaned or counters cleaned no cleaning checklists or charts anywhere employees are never wiping anything down with sanitizer or actually cleaning anything-it’s disgusting. Ive been going here for a while and I never see anybody doing cleaning beyond dusting and towels. Not to mention an employee hazard the female employees empty (and fill) towel areas with bare hands after ive watched people dripping sweat blow their noses and wipe private areas with towels. The step mills always have garbage in them and the employees walking around “wiping” stuff down are more often found wondering around or chatting with somebody. Its just plain disgusting they need to hire a decent cleaning crew for upkeep especially considering the volume of people coming through

I am completely dissatisfied with the attitude I received from member services astonishingly, at a corporate level. After my previous unprofessional experience with this location, I wanted to explain my dissatisfaction or at the least be given some sense of an explanation as to why I was not being helped. After speaking with both (Claire and Brittany) from member services at the corporate level, I was left more dissatisfied than before. After speaking with Brittany and explaining how displeased I was with the service given, and searching for an answer to my dilemma I was told “There is a reason you’ve called three times and have been given the same answer.” Although if this statement was factual, It was told an a complete impolite tone and turned into an irate dispute. Following this incident, I then called the 1800 number provided which was just another member services member, Blair. At this point I just wanted these incidents documented so that proper repercussions could take place. Blaire proved to be just as incompetent and would not give me any information so that I could speak with the member services manager and continued to be very rude and unpleasant to speak with through the phone. I feel as a valued customer that some accountability should be taken place past a corporate level or at a different department. It is extremely alarming to me that people at this level of customer service provide such minimal level of help. I will not seek out any further assistance from this company and definitely do not recommend in doing so.
