I have mixed feelings about our experience. My son had his very first haircut tonight and the stylist did phenomenally well with him. No tears, barely any fuss, and quick. That was an awesome experience! However, the cut turned out nothing like we were hoping and we are incredibly heartbroken because of it. Far too much hair was removed and the final result was choppy. My kid had a head of thick, long hair. I'm unsure if we will return.
We used to go to this location a lot until we moved, and most of my experiences have been good. We haven't been able to go quite as often, but recently, every time I try to make an appointment, it's really hard to get in. They must have gotten busier than ever--maybe short staff? Recently I tried to get my two girls in for an appointment and was running five minutes late. I called to let them know and the woman who answered the phone (I don't know if it was the receptionist of a hair stylist) was pretty impatient about the whole thing. She ended the conversation, sounding very exasperated, "Just come in when you come in, because I have no idea when you'll be here." (??) I told her twice I would be no later than five minutes! She was so stressed that I didn't want her cutting my girls hair and ended up going somewhere else. I would have called to let them know I wasn't coming, but quite frankly, I was a little scared.
A few too many toys for sale for our liking, but great and fast service. Very convenient location, and perfect if your kids sit still for a movie.
I went to the Chanhassen, Mn location & My daughter now has a hack job of a haircut it's literally one of the worst haircuts I've ever seen uneven just horrible. I can do better! I'm sad it's one of her second haircuts & It was cute before now it's not.
It was easy to book online and the stylist we saw was on time with our appointment. She listened and was quick - it was a great first haircut for my daughter. However, the place itself could use a good cleaning. The cape she put on my daughter looked dirty and the floor in the waiting room was very dirty and full of hair!
The stylist Erin was rushy and rude. Although I'm upset about my one daughters hair... I did end up brining my other daughter to the Edina location and she has Autism And doesn't really sit still but they did an excellent job her hair is excactly how I wanted it for her & we got a lot cut off then donated. Will return to Edina location again but never stepping foot into Chanhassen location.
